A study at the University of Toronto said that people who regularly play action games such as Assassin's Creed and Call of Duty are able to improve their hand eye coordination faster than those who don’t play video games rarely or not at all. People who regularly game improve their sensorimotor task, a sensorimotor is having both sensory and motor function. So when you are running around shooting bad guys in Call of Duty or running and jumping off buildings and into hay stacks in Assassins Creed you’re improving your sensorimotor skill. They also say that thanks to their new study of video games, you could probably learn to ride a bike faster if you play video games!
Playing video games all the time won’t improve your hand eye right away, but if you play for a few months or years you will be able to see improvement from the people that don’t play at all.
